Sexual intercourse in the early months of pregnancy is important

Various controls for sexual relations emerged during pregnancy. Some doctors have been advised to avoid intercourse during the two dates where the two menstrual periods were expected:

Second and third, as this presents the pregnant woman with abortion. Another view was that intercourse should be avoided in the last month of pregnancy so that the wife was not at risk of infection and was about to give birth, and some would avoid it in the first three months, especially if the wife had already had an abortion.
At present, it is agreed that there is no harm at all from the occurrence of sexual intercourse during pregnancy, either at the beginning, middle or late. Doctors did not prove the validity of the previous damages.

However, intercourse should stop if the pregnant woman experiences some problems such as pain, vaginal bleeding, or leaky discharges.

Some men feel less sexual desire towards their pregnant wife due to many psychological reasons such as fear of causing harm to the mother or fetus, and some may have sex with a pregnant woman. Because of changes in physical characteristics such as the cost of pregnancy, obesity and swelling of the legs, the husband may not feel any attraction towards his wife. Quite the contrary, some couples feel a strong sexual desire for their pregnant wife.

To the naked secretariat, and without the desire to raise fears, pregnancy for women is a period of real suffering. In the first trimester, women suffer from nausea, vomiting, and the possibility of bleeding that threatens their pregnancy and may prevent them from moving during the nine months of pregnancy.

The sexual intercourse is often not enjoyable for women, where breast congestion – especially the nipple – is increased. It is more congestive for those who are pregnant for the first time and less vaginal secretions, which makes the penetration painful, with the possibility of contraction of the vagina muscles. Lack of aspiration to peak causes congestion in the pelvis resulting in severe pain.

The incidence of intercourse in the last third of pregnancy, when reaching the peak means that contractions in the uterus may lead to the exit of the fetus from the womb of his mother before the completion of growth in women who suffer from cervical weakness. In addition, semen with a substance secreted by the prostate and seminal vesicles called prostaglandins Prostaglandin, which causes the nature of contractions in the uterus.

Therefore, we advise couples to be gentle with their wives during pregnancy, and to leave them with full freedom and even the right to begin to request the pleasure of bed, given the physical pressures they suffer because of pregnancy and psychological stress because of their keenness to satisfy their husbands and not deprive them of this pleasure even at the expense of themselves.

The positions of intercourse during pregnancy can be arranged according to their suitability for pregnant women as follows:

  1.  the lateral back position; that is, lying on the opposite side of the couple, but the man comes back from his wife, and the insertion from the back to the front of the vagina, which is not a difficult situation, but only requires the help of the woman to her husband to be able to penetration.
  2. the position of the posterior back so that the woman lying on her stomach, but lifted from the bed so that the husband to enter, so as not to get much pressure on the fetus.
  3.  the vertical back position so that the woman bow on her knees, and the upper half parallel to the mattress and vertical on the legs, and the hands are perpendicular to the bed, and the hands are tied to him, while the man sitting in a sitting on his knees, and the insertion from the back forward.
  4. The vertical front position so that the woman is lying on her back only while the lower half is high, and it forms a corner or a little loose with the upper half, and the man sits in a hiatus, and this position may be difficult on the pregnant if you are not accustomed to it

Some pregnant women ask whether they can have sex during pregnancy without fear ??

Praise be to Allaah. The marital relationship during pregnancy is normal and does not represent a danger to the mother or fetus. This relationship is affected during pregnancy, depending on the pregnancy months, the mother’s health and mood, and also whether there are complications or fears of complications during pregnancy.

In the first three months of pregnancy, the mother suffers from nausea, lethargy and fatigue and is often reluctant to be intimate with the husband.

In some cases, pregnancy is liable to miscarriage in the first few months, whether there is a similar history of previous patients or the occurrence of some of the abortive diseases in the current pregnancy. In this case, the intimate relationship between the spouses is never recommended until the first months pass peacefully. In the case of uterine contractions or minor bleeding in the first months of pregnancy, no intimate relationship with the husband is recommended during this pregnancy.

After the first three months of pregnancy and the end of the period of birth and nausea improve the mother’s medical and mood, and with the rise of pregnancy hormones in the blood becomes vagina more congestion and viscosity, which increases the mother’s desire for intimacy. The relationship is therefore easier during the second trimester of pregnancy.

In the last three months of pregnancy, if there is a medical history of a previous premature birth, the intercourse is forbidden permanently, while this is true intercourse after taking some precautions:

  • It is preferable to use a medical insulator: as the semen contains substances that urge the uterus to contractions and the cervix to expand.
  • Prefer intercourse in the side or back position and avoid the front position to reduce pressure on the abdomen.
  •  Must be intercourse gently and without penetrating the penis in depth
